Plastic Cashbox for NV9 Spectral Clip on 1500 notes – Optional Locking System
The new plastic cashbox from Innovative Technology has been specially developed for the NV9 Spectral banknote validator. It securely stores the accepted banknotes and can be easily removed from the validator for emptying.
The injection-moulded plastic design is significantly lighter than conventional metal cashboxes and is ideal for use in new machines, vending machines and payment systems. Depending on the version, the cashboxes are available with capacities of up to 300, 600 or 1,500 banknotes. The actual capacity may vary slightly depending on the thickness, condition and currency of the banknotes.
For additional protection against unauthorised access, the cashbox can be equipped with the optionally available PA04388 lock retrofit kit. This lock retrofit kit can be used with all new plastic cashboxes in this product range. The MC02186 locking clip is also required to fully secure the cashbox.
The new cashboxes also feature cashbox detection. This allows the banknote validator to detect whether the cashbox has been inserted and positioned correctly. This function requires an NV9 Spectral with firmware version 1.20 or later and hardware build revision 8 or later.
Important compatibility information:
Within the NV9 product range, this plastic cashbox is suitable exclusively for the NV9 Spectral or NV9S. It is not compatible with the older NV9, NV9 USB or NV9 USB+ banknote validators.
